hi and welcome to my blog for { j. mcburney photography}….and maybe a few other topics here and there!

my love of photography started at an early age. thanks to a father whose profession is in videography and naturally had the video camera or digital camera out to document every event in my life. but i always loved being in front of the camera! let’s say i’m definitely NOT camera shy. after a while i developed an interest in learning the ins and outs “behind the camera.” i quickly fell in love with the feeling you get when you capture a special moment for someone (or for yourself). it is so joyous. it’s like christmas morning for me everytime! seriously. what can i say? i love what i do!
